How to Delete Files

NOTE: Your icon may not look like these.

  1. Right-click on the file you wish to delete.
  2. From the pop-up menu that appears, choose Delete.
  3. Windows will ask you whether you're sure. Click Yes.

        Name of the File You Want to Delete        

  1. Locate the Recycle Bin icon on your desktop.
  2. Click once to highlight the file you want to delete.
  3. Holding the left mouse button down, drag the icon to the Recycle Bin.
  4. Let go of the mouse.
